“Offleash Adventures combines awesome hikes with obedience training and a whole lot of love. We have two high energy breeds (Brittany and Irish Setter) and our dogs need their off leash time!! They have never been so well exercised and we all love that!”

Forest Adventures for Dogs.
Our group hikes take your dog on exciting two hour long adventures into the North Shore mountains for a day of fun with friends. What makes us different from all those other dog walkers? That’s easy! Longer, more challenging hikes. All of our hikes are two hours long, as compared with other services offering only one to one and a half hours. Also, we hike the steeper more challenging trails, to really help drain that excess energy many dogs have built up. Our dogs get to explore their instincts in a safe, supervised, and stimulating environment, while you get the peace of mind that your dog’s most basic physical, social, and instinctual needs are being met. Dogs are out and about with us an average of three and a half hours during the day, so you can rest assured that they aren’t left alone and bored in the house all day, when you can’t be there.
A well-socialized dog is a happy dog
Dogs are social animals that thrive when given the opportunity to travel in a pack. They love to use their noses to explore the world. We offer daily two-hour hikes into the North Shore mountains where dogs are primarily off leash except when required for pack safety.
We pick your dog up and, after their stimulating fun in the forest, we bring them home happy and pooped, towel them off (it is the North Shore after all), give them a few treats, and leave you a note reporting the day’s adventures. This is a great alternative to day care. Including transit time, dogs are away from home approximately 2.5 – 4 hours. Our clients report their dogs are happy and pooped when they arrive home from work! (Check out our testimonials page with stories from some of our happy clients)
We will schedule a free consultation with you and your dog at your home. This gives your dog a chance to meet us, for us to get to know your dog (history, medical conditions, etc.), and for you to ask any questions that you may have.
Once the consultation is complete, we can go over any special instructions such as alarm codes etc. It is up to you how we access your dog from your home or business. Some people hide a key. Others provide us with key or code in the case of a keypad. All keys we are given are kept safely locked in a safe with only the dog’s name on the key tag. For your security and peace of mind, Offleash Adventures is bonded and fully insured, so you can feel safe allowing us access into your home.
The pack is already well established since they have hiked together for some time. This makes the introduction of new dogs easier, as they can quickly establish their position within the pack. All new dogs initially ride up front and are then introduced to the pack on the trail to make for a smooth transition. As well, newcomers are always leashed for the first hike while they learn the ropes.
Offleash Adventures is licensed, bonded, and fully-insured. We are also accredited with the Better Business Bureau. You can count on us to reliably pick up, drop off, and care for your beloved pet just as you would. We are certified in pet first aid and carry first aid kits out on the trails with us.
